A label for electric cars is on the way to identify information about the vehicle and the type of recharge.

This is what the new European provisions come into force on March 20, 2021.
But what does the new Directive EN 17186: 2019 provide
The Directive requires the affixing of labels on rechargeable electric vehicles placed on the market starting from March 20, 2021.
Furthermore, the same also applies to all recharging stations put into operation from the same date.

As for electric vehicles, the labels will be found near the connector, both the fixed and the mobile one, and on the instruction manual.
For the charging stations, however, the labels will be visible near the power socket or in the charging connector housing.
